Australia's 3G Network Is Shutting Down

Australia bids farewell to 3G as major telecommunications providers switch off their 3G networks. While the transition may pose challenges for some, the benefits of a faster and more advanced technology will reshape the way Australian's connect and interact in the digital age.

Vodaphone were the first to shutdown their 3G network in January 2024. Telstra will follow with their 3G services ending in June 2024 and lastly Optus will end their 3G services in September 2024.


What do you need to do?
